Messaging Terms

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms cover the text messages sent from this website. This website is
operated by Wedding Venue Crashers, Inc, doing business as
Get Going in Business (“we”, “us”). Our
Privacy Policy explains everything else we do with your
information.

Quick reference

  • Reply STOP — unsubscribe from all text messages immediately
  • Reply HELP — get help and our contact details
  • Reply START — re-subscribe if you previously opted out

What the programme sends

We send text messages to people who have asked, through the form on this
website, to be introduced to a financial adviser. Messages may include:

  • confirmation of your request, with the adviser’s booking link
  • a reminder to choose a meeting time, if you have not booked one
  • reminders before a meeting you have booked
  • a short note after the meeting asking how it went
  • replies to messages you send us

We do not send marketing texts and we do not send bulk texts.

How you opt in

By entering your mobile number on the form on this website and ticking the
consent box on the last step. The box is not ticked for you. Stopping the
texts does not affect your introduction, your booking link or your
meeting.

How often

Message frequency varies. Usually three to eight messages in total per
request. We stop entirely after seven days if you have not booked.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message. You will receive one final text confirming
you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. You can also email
service@getgoinginbusiness.com. Reply START to re-subscribe.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, or email service@getgoinginbusiness.com.

Cost

Standard message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile
network and payable to them. We add no charge of our own. Contact your
carrier for the details of your plan.

Carriers

The programme works with most major US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon,
T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Cricket and U.S. Cellular. Carrier availability is
not guaranteed, and we are not responsible for delays in delivery caused by
your network.

Privacy of your mobile number

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected through this website
will not be shared with, sold to, or used by any third party for marketing
purposes.
We pass your number to the adviser you asked to meet, because
that introduction is what you asked us for, and to the messaging company
that delivers the text on our behalf. Nobody else receives it, and we do not
sell it.

Automated messages

By ticking the consent box you agree to receive automated text messages at
the number you provide. Consent is recorded with the date, time and the
wording you agreed to.
